What we collect

When you donate we collect your name, mobile number, and, if you give them, your email address, city, a dedication or dua request. We also keep the details of your donation: amount, cause, type of giving, date and payment reference.

We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Those go directly to our payment gateway, Razorpay.

To understand which appeals work, we note how you reached the site (for example a WhatsApp or Instagram link). This is stored in your browser and with your donation.

How we use it

• To process your donation and issue your receipt.
• To send thank-you messages and receipts by SMS, email or WhatsApp.
• To keep the trust's accounts and meet legal requirements.
• To show your first name and city on our supporters list, unless you ask to stay anonymous.
• To contact you about your donation if there is a problem with it.

Who we share it with

Only with the services needed to run donations: Razorpay for payments, and our SMS and email providers to deliver your messages. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it. We never sell or rent your details.

How long we keep it

Donation records are kept for as long as Indian law requires for a charitable trust's accounts, and no longer than needed after that.

Your choices

• Ask us to correct your details, or ask what we hold about you.
• Donate anonymously to keep your name off the public list.
• Cancel a monthly donation at any time.

Cookies and browser storage

The site remembers where you came from and an unfinished donation in your browser, so we can show you the right reminder. We use no advertising trackers. The admin area uses a login cookie.
